Welcome to your e-Bike rental experience! Whether you've chosen the Pedego Element V2, Pedego Boomerang, Aventon Abound, or Zugo Rhino, this guide provides you with essential operating instructions to ensure a safe and enjoyable ride.

Operating Instructions for Your e-Bike Adventure

Powering On Your e-Bike

• Pedego Element V2: Locate the "M" button on the bike's control panel or integrated into the LCD display. Press and hold until the display activates.
• Pedego Boomerang, Aventon Abound, and Zugo Rhino: Find the power button with the universal power symbol (⏻) on the LCD display panel. Press and hold until the display activates.

Pre-Ride Safety Check (Applies to All Models)

All our bikes are pre-checked to ensure they are in optimal condition for your ride. However, we recommend that you perform a quick safety check before each ride to ensure your own safety and comfort. Here are some simple steps you can take:

• Brakes: Squeeze the brake levers to ensure they engage smoothly and effectively. Check for any unusual noises or resistance.
• Tires: Inspect the tires for proper inflation and any signs of damage such as cuts, punctures, or excessive wear. Inflate the tires to the recommended pressure if necessary.
• Battery Level: Check the battery level indicator on the display panel to ensure it is sufficiently charged for your planned ride. If needed, charge the battery before setting out.
• Lights and Signals: Test the front and rear lights, as well as any turn signals or indicators to ensure they are functioning properly, especially if you'll be riding in low-light conditions or at night.
  • To turn on headlights, hold the +sign.
  • Turn Signals (Only on Aventon Abound) Use < or > buttons
• Seat and Handlebars: Adjust the seat height and position, as well as the handlebar height and angle, to ensure a comfortable riding posture and proper control of the bike.

  • Pedego Element V2: 25-60 miles.
  • Pedego Boomerang: 25-60 miles.
  • Aventon Abound: 20-45 miles.
  • Zugo Rhino: 45-70 miles.
• Weight: e-bikes are heavy - Use caution while operating and turning.
  • Pedego Element V2 & Boomerang: 65 Pounds.
  • Aventon Abound: 80 Pounds.
  • Zugo Rhino: 70 Pounds.

Helmet and Rider Safety Tips

• Helmet Usage: Always wear a properly fitted helmet when riding your e-bike to protect yourself in case of accidents.
• Rider Awareness: Stay alert and aware of your surroundings while riding, including traffic, pedestrians, and obstacles.
• Obey Traffic Laws: Follow all traffic laws and regulations, including signaling turns and stopping at red lights and stop signs.
• Ride Defensively: Assume that other road users may not see you and ride defensively to avoid accidents.
• Use Hand Signals: Use hand signals to indicate your intentions to turn or change lanes. Aventon Abound has turn signals. Use < or > buttons.
• Stay Visible: Wear bright or reflective clothing and use lights on your bike, especially when riding in low-light conditions.
• Maintain Control: Ride at a safe speed and maintain control of your e-bike at all times, especially when navigating corners or obstacles.

Locking Your e-Bike

Always use the provided lock, securing the frame to an immovable object. Choose visible, well-lit areas for parking.

Handling Emergencies or Mechanical Issues

Stop riding if the bike experiences any issues and contact the rental provider immediately. Keep a phone handy for emergencies.

Concluding Your Ride

Return the bike where you rented from, ensuring the e-bike is securely locked and all accessories are returned as received.
